Lauren Daniel grew up in Henry County where she also attended the local public schools. She currently resides in Locust Grove with her high school sweetheart Zak. On Sunday mornings, they attend Rock Springs Church in Milner. The Lord has blessed their marriage tremendously and given them four children, Liam, Levi, Lexa, and baby Zane. Liam and Levi like playing football in the fall and baseball in the spring, while Lexa enjoys ballet and forcing her brothers to have tea parties. Baby Zane is just happy to be part of the crew.

Lauren has a professional background in marketing and community development, this has had the unique opportunity to give back through her work with various local charities and organizations. She also runs the local “Kindness Works’ program in Henry County schools and currently sits on the executive board for The Bridge Wellness South pregnancy resource center in Henry County.

Lauren is an example of what it looks like to never give up. She faced adversity early in life and it only strengthened her resolve. As a teenage mother, she worked her way through college while raising a family and ultimately graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Georgia

State University. As a little girl, Lauren always thought she would grow up to be an English teacher, however, while pursuing a master’s degree in teaching, she began to realize the depths of the issues within the education system and the necessity for better leadership and policy at

the highest level.

Lauren believes anything is possible with faith, common sense, and discipline and in the same way she has fought for the future of her own family, she cherishes the opportunity to fight for the future of you and your family everyday under the Gold Dome as your representative for Georgia House District 81.
